MARIANNA SAMBIASE
Nata a Milano nel 1972, si laurea in Scienze dell’Educazione con una tesi dal titolo “L’Alzheimer come tema filosofico”.
Questa ricerca iniziale ha segnato profondamente il suo percorso, trasformando l’attività di cura in una continua riflessione sull’essere umano.
In oltre vent'anni di esperienza accanto a persone affette da patologie degenerative, ha maturato un approccio sempre più consapevole, basato sull’osservazione, l’ascolto e il riconoscimento dell’altro, all'interno di una relazione di cura intensa e di reciproca dipendenza. Essenzialmente, al centro, viene messa la persona nella sua interezza: un universo fatto di relazioni, affetti, emozioni, gesti e sguardi. Tutte espressioni di un’umanità che va riconosciuta e restituita.
In una prospettiva multidisciplinare, ha esplorato negli anni le possibilità offerte dalla filosofia, dalla danza, dal cinema e dalla musica. Ha approfondito il linguaggio fotografico, attraverso workshop con autori come Eolo Perfido e Daniele Barraco. Alcune delle sue foto sono state esposte all’Alzheimer Fest di Melegnano e per l’intero periodo Giubilare presso la chiesa della Fondazione Sacra Famiglia di Cesano Boscone.
Oggi vive a Milano, lavora tuttora come educatrice presso il Nucleo Alzheimer della RSA San Pietro di Fondazione Sacra Famiglia, studia Musicoterapia presso il CMT, e la sua ricerca continua, non finisce qui.

Marianna Sambiase
Born in Milan in 1972, she graduated in Educational Sciences with a thesis entitled “Alzheimer’s Disease as a Philosophical Theme.”
This early research profoundly shaped her path, transforming caregiving into an ongoing reflection on the human being, relationships, and vulnerability.
With over twenty years of experience working alongside people affected by degenerative diseases, she has developed an increasingly conscious approach based on observation, listening, and recognition of the other, within an intense caregiving relationship marked by mutual dependence.
At the center of her work is always the person in their entirety: a complex universe made up of relationships, affections, emotions, gestures, and gazes—expressions of a humanity that must be acknowledged and restored.
Adopting a multidisciplinary perspective, over the years she has explored the languages of philosophy, dance, cinema, and music. She has focused in particular on photographic language through workshops with authors such as Eolo Perfido and Daniele Barraco, and through her collaboration with the Milan-based laboratory Yes We Scan.
Some of her photographs have been exhibited at the Alzheimer Fest in Melegnano and, throughout the entire Jubilee period, at the church of the Fondazione Sacra Famiglia in Cesano Boscone.
She currently lives in Milan and works as an educator at the Alzheimer Unit of the RSA San Pietro, Fondazione Sacra Famiglia. She is studying Music Therapy at the CMT, while continuing a personal research path that weaves together care, art, and listening—
